There are many videos out there, mainly crazy Aussies in their outback, using the spare tyre as a air storage tank by overinflating the tyre to above 150 psi. Then they use this air to fix popouts and to air up the running tyres as required. I know the dangers of over inflating tyres in our summer weather but this is an intriguing idea.
Anyone has done any such craziness over here ?

doubt if its worth the risk
Risks of burst, and subsequent issues, out weights benefits.
But, it was (not sure if still is) a practice of off-roaders here in UAE to use the spare wheel as an inflator, many years back (as in the 80's).
